Parkside Court Apartments was designed as an alternative for senior citizens who prefer an independent lifestyle.
Parkside’s modern facilities offer residents the opportunity to socialize in a friendly, comfortable yet private setting.
Due to funding from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, residents’ rent is subsidized and therefore based on their ability to pay. Applicants must qualify as low-income under guidelines set by HUD to be considered for residency.

The high quality living environment at Parkside begins with a private apartment, which features wall-to-wall carpeting, full kitchen and bath plus a modern electric stove and refrigerator. Laundry facilities are conveniently located on the premises. Two-zone thermostats allow for customized climate control options.
Residents may rest easy in the knowledge that smoke, fire, and emergency alarms are locate din each apartment. Security hand-grips and adjustable shower heads are standard bathroom features as is the convenient elevator service. Parkside also offers specially-designed handicapped units for those that require one. Access to the building is controlled by a security intercom located in each apartment.
The amenities of Parkside Court’s apartments are just the beginning, because maintenance work is a thing of the past. Snow and garbage removal, yard work, painting, and even window washing are all handled by the efficient management staff. Therefore, residents are left with less worries and more time to relax in the furnished community room or TV lounge.

Programs & Services
The health and well-being of our residents is a top priority. Therefore, Parkside offers several programs and health monitoring checkups to insure convenient access to nutritious meals and evaluations by trained medical staff.
Thanks to the Office of Aging, Parkside residents are offered a well-balanced lunch five days a week in the dinging room. Seasonal celebrations and events are a regular occasion. Whether it’s the yearly Christmas Party, Summer Barbeque, or just a friendly game of Bingo, Parkside is more than just a place to live; it’s a place you call home.
To Qualify
Parkside Court Apartments operates under the rules and regulations of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a low-income housing facility, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Applicant must qualify within the very low income category as defined by HUD. Financial eligibility is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Applicant must be at least 62 years of age.
Seniors from any area are welcome to apply, although priority is given to those residing in the immediate area.
Rent Schedules
The concept being low-income housing is to offer an affordable rent that is directly linked to the resident’s ability to pay.
Therefore, at Parkside Court, all residents’ rent is a percentage of their monthly income.
